New Hire Probationary Period

Summary

New hires are expected to complete a 90 day probationary period without incident in order to be eligible for full employee benefits.

 

Withheld Benefits

Benefits that are withheld during the probationary period are

  • PTO/Sick Time – does not begin to accrue until the first business day of the month after the probationary period. (ex: Probationary period ends on April 3rd. PTO/STO begins to accrue on May 1st)

  • 401(k) – New hires will be eligible to begin contributions to the company sponsored retirement account the pay cycle following the probationary period.

Employer subsidies will not be paid to the employee until two pay cycle following the probationary period. (Due to system processing times.)

 

New Hire 1:1’s

New hires will be expected to attend bi-weekly or monthly 1:1’s with leader. This time is to ensure the new hires success by providing the appropriate tools and resources available. This time will also be used to address any concerns if there are any.
